Terms of Use

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Nachoz, based in Belgium, regarding the Nachoz mobile application and this website. By downloading or using the app, you accept these terms.

If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. Questions can be sent to hello@nachoz.app.

Nachoz lets you track the films and series you watch, follow your progress, and browse catalogue information such as titles, artwork, release dates, ratings and streaming availability.

Nachoz is a tracking and discovery tool. It does not host, stream or play any film or television content, and it is not affiliated with the streaming services it references.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use Nachoz on devices you own or control, for your own private use.

You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, decompile or reverse engineer the app, remove any proprietary notices, or create derivative works from it, except where such acts are expressly permitted by mandatory law.

You agree not to:

• use the app for any unlawful purpose or in breach of third-party rights;
• interfere with the app, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or disrupt the services it connects to;
• scrape, mass-extract or resell catalogue data obtained through the app;
• circumvent technical limitations or use automated systems to place an unreasonable load on third-party providers.

Your library, ratings and notes remain yours. They are stored on your device and, if you enable sync, in your own iCloud account. You are responsible for keeping backups; see our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.

Catalogue information is supplied by third parties such as TMDB and JustWatch. We present it in good faith but cannot guarantee that titles, episode counts, ratings or streaming availability are complete, accurate or up to date.

Streaming links may take you to services operated by others. Their own terms and prices apply, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

Nachoz may offer optional paid features. All purchases and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store, and renewals, refunds and cancellations are governed by Apple's terms and managed in your Apple Account settings.

As a consumer in the EU you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases; this right may lapse once you start using digital content you have expressly consented to receive immediately. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

We work to keep Nachoz available and reliable, but the app is provided on an "as available" basis. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may end support for older operating system versions. Where a change materially affects you, we will give notice in the app when reasonably possible.

Nothing in these terms excludes the statutory rights and legal guarantees you have as a consumer under Belgian and EU law, including our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence and wilful misconduct.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data resulting from your own device or iCloud configuration, or inaccuracies in third-party catalogue data.

You may stop using Nachoz at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, in particular the acceptable use rules above.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Belgian courts, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

Before going to court, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

We may update these terms as the app evolves. The date shown at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
